Great question! And I have one simple answer to this, and that is one big YES! When you go on-line and you want to buy something, what is the most important thing you will question yourself? Please ask yourself that question.

I think that the answer to this question is: Can I TRUST this guy/girl and what is his/her credibility in his/her field of market.

I will try to explain why is this factor very important.

Factor: TRUST

On the internet you will find lots of different products and web sites. Great products, poor products, great looking web sites and those that are poorly designed.

When you land on a page what do you see first?

I think that answer is: VISUAL DESIGN OF A WEB SITE!

Now, what do you think, will your visitor trust you more or less with your great looking web site?

I think that you agree that great looking web site is the first and one of the most important things when your potential buyer comes to your site. And in those few seconds you are building trust in them.

First of all, they will see that you are serious about your business, because you spend the time and probably money ( if you don't know how to build it yourself ) to create great looking web site.

And second... now I came to the factor number two: You are starting to build credibility!

Now You wonder what do I mean under this " credibility " thing.

Well, you see... when visitor came to your web site and you have build trust in him you have opened his ''guessing factor''. ( Ok He is professional, he put the money in his business and now he wants to sell me something... ), and then comes your credibility.

So, credibility is usefulness' of your web site. When you create good looking web site you probably think: Ok, now I've done it and people will buy everything from me, right? NO, WRONG!!!
